To the north of Kathmandu valley, Helambu Circuit Trekking circling the valley of the Melamchi Khola, the Helambu area lies. Among all the routes of Nepal, Helambu is also one of them. The landscape of Helambu area is classic Himalayan foothills with plenty of beautiful hills, flora, and fauna. While walking in the Helambu area, it will offer us with unbelievable environment along with a shining view of mountain ranges of Annapurna and Everest region. This trekking area is just 75 km above to Kathmandu valley. This area is ideal for those new trekkers who are doing trekking for the first time over here and don't have much experience. This Helambu Trek is short so this area is basically suitable and arranged for those who have a busy schedule in a day to day life and want to enjoy with glorious views of mountains at the limited holidays. This area is situated at the low altitude from where we can glimpse the view of tall mountains by knowing the fantastic lifestyle of people living in Sherpa village. During our trekking to this area, we will meet different people of the different ethnic group who will help us to give information more about this trekking region in details along with the tradition and culture of local Sherpa people.
We will start our trekking to Helambu area with a short drive to Sundarijal. From Sundarijal, we will continue our trekking to Helambu by following the gorgeous trekking route. We will follow the route of Chisapani through the Shivapuri watershed areas which are not at the high altitude. Since the trekking area is situated at low altitude it is considered as the moderate trekking area of Nepal. The route of the Helambu Circuit trekking area will provide us instant Himalayan trek to the passionate trekkers at limited time. The month of September, October, November, December, March, April, may, June, and February is regarded as the best and suitable month to trek in this area. Everest Trekking Routes will arrange the trekking at these areas according to the holiday schedule of trekkers.

Day To Day Detail Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival to Kathmandu
On your arrival to Kathmandu at TIA, a representative of A Everest Trekking Routes will warmly welcome you to Nepal. He/She will guide you towards the room of hotel of Nepal booked for you. Arrival day can be either rest day or sightseeing day of Kathmandu valley. The night will be at the hotel with the discussion about the tour and be enjoying the delicious dinner.
Day 02: Drive to Sundarijal and 4 Hour trek to Chisapani
About a drive of 1 hours, we will reach to the Sundarijal from there we will begin our trek to Chisapani. The path from Sundarijal to Chisapani will follow the pipeline of water supply to Kathmandu. After walking for a while we can enter to the Shivapuri watershed and wildlife reserve. We will continue walking to Mul Kharka and to Chisapani. Chisapani is situated at the altitude of 2140m.
Day 03: Chisapani to Gul Bhanjyang
From Chisapani, we will continue our trial to the main way where we are unable to find a settlement of people around us. We will continue to Pati Bhanjyang and pass through the beautiful trail dotted by some chores and beautiful forest at its side. Finally, we will reach to the Gul Bhanjyang where we will stay the night.
Day 04: Gul Bhanjyang to Tharepati
After having the hot breakfast at Gul Bhanjyang, we will walk towards the Tharepati. Our trail goes steeply through the forest of pine and oak forest along with some excellent views of mountains. The trail will continue towards the Magen Goth where we can get the glimpse of Langtang and Gosainkunda. walking steep way, we will reach Tharepati for the night.
Day 05: Tharepati to Melamchi Gaun
From Tharepati, we will walk a short but beautiful path through the forest of fir and rhododendron along with some wildlife and listening of a bird singing a beautiful tune, we will move towards the Melamchi Gaun. Before reaching Melamchi, we will hear and see some pleasuring sound of water striking to the rocks. The night will be interesting at Melamchi Gaun.
Day 06: Melamchi Gaun to Tarkeghyang
From Melamchi, we will follow the way towards the Tarkeghyang to the altitude of 2560m. We will walk steep from the Melamchi Gaun to the valley where we can get the crystal clear view of the river along with the beautiful valley. We can see some traditional and cultural Gompas at Tarkeghyang. We will rest night at Tarkeghyang
Day 07: Tarkeghyang to Sermathang
Early morning, we will resume our journey through the flat and easy path which will lead us to Sermathang. Tarkeghyang is one beautiful Sherpa village of Nepal. The Sherpa people residing here introduce themselves as they are different from the Sherpa of Khumbu region. If we are lucky then we can get the crystal clear view of Ganesh Himal, Langtang Himal, Gosainkunda village and Rolwaling Mountain from the viewpoint. The night will be at Sermathang.
Day 08: Sermathang to Melamchi bazaar and to Kathmandu
From Sermathang, we need to trek through the steep path to Melamchi bazaar through the beautiful meadows and some cultivating areas. We need to pass through several old villages viewing some spectacular view of the mountain. The trekking will be interesting as we can interact with the local people. We will be at Melamchi Pul bazaar after a short walk. From Melamchi, we will drive back to Kathmandu and will relax the night at the hotel room of Kathmandu.
Day 09: Farewell
After having a relaxing night at Kathmandu, finally, the day of returning back to our home country and busy schedule has come with the ending of our interesting tour over to the highlands of Nepal.
